Family Star Movie Got Good TRP

Vijay Deverakonda’s latest outing, “Family Star,” received a good reception during its television premiere. The movie, which was released on April 5th, initially received negative reviews from both audiences and critics.

The film, produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations under the banner of Dil Raju and Sirish, is directed by Parasuram, who is known for “Geetha Govindam.” Despite having a high budget, the movie only garnered 20 crore rupees.

“Family Star” features a star-studded cast including Vijay Deverakonda, Mrunal Thakur, Divyansha Kaushik, Jagapathi Babu, Vasuki, Rohini, and Marissa Rose. Every department completely failed to entertain the audience.

However, the response to the television premiere was good compared to its theatrical release. The movie received a TRP of 6.11 in urban markets and 5.55 in U+R markets, which is very good for a flop movie.

The previous collaboration between Vijay Deverakonda and Parasuram, “Geetha Govindam,” was a blockbuster. However, “Family Star” has turned out to be a significant disappointment in comparison.

Nowadays, a lot of audiences prefer to watch movies on television or OTT platforms rather than in theaters.
